At Levvel Inc (“Levvel “) we are committed to maintaining the privacy and security of your personal information. We take protection of your privacy seriously, and we comply with the federal privacy legislation known as the Personal Information Protection and Electronics Documents Act (the “Act”) and the Canadian Standards Association’s National Standard Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information. This Privacy Policy details how Levvel collects, uses and discloses personal information.

Your provision of Personal Information (as defined below) to Levvel means that you agree that we may collect, use and disclose your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not provide any Personal Information to Levvel. Unfortunately, certain services can only be offered if you provide Personal Information to us. Consequently, if you choose not to provide us with any required Personal Information, we may not be able to offer you those services. Levvel reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time without notice. We therefore recommend that you visit this page often to ensure that you are up-to-date on our latest Privacy Policy.

What is personal information?

“Personal Information” means information about an identifiable individual (such as a name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address, etc.). Information such as the name, title or business address or telephone number of an employee of an organization is not considered “Personal Information”.

HOW LEVVEL USES YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

When you fill out an online form, we may ask for your name, address, postal code, e-mail address and phone number. Any Personal Information that you provide to Levvel will be used for the purpose for which it was collected. We will always inform you why we are collecting the Personal Information and if you are not comfortable with that use, please do not provide us with your information.

Your Personal Information may also be used to contact you regarding other products and services that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of such future contact, meaning you can ask us to no longer send you e-mails or direct mail. Every direct mail piece or e-mail that we send you will detail how you may opt out of being contacted.

Levvel will delete Personal Information that is no longer required to perform the identified purposes.

Levvel does not sell, trade, or otherwise provide to third parties any Personal Information it has obtained except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Handling Payments

Payment processing services enable this Application to process payments by credit card. To ensure greater security, this Application shares only the information necessary to execute the transaction with the financial intermediaries handling the transaction.

Some of these services may also enable the sending of timed messages to the User, such as emails containing invoices or notifications concerning the payment.

CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING

Cancellation and/or reschedule requests must be received in writing by email. You are responsible for ensuring that Levvel receives your written request. Attendees must cancel more than 15 business days prior to the course date to receive a full refund. A 3% credit card processing fee is subtracted to all refunds. Cancellation requests received 4 to 14 business days prior to the course date will result in a credit toward attendance at a future session. Cancellations made 3 or less business days prior to the course date, or failure to appear for the seminar, will result in forfeiture of the course fee.

SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to help protect your personal information including without limitation:

Limiting access to your personal information to those of our employees who require it to provide services to you; ensuring that third-party service providers’ policies respect the confidentiality of your personal information and that they commit to not using it for any unauthorized purposes; storing your personal information in secure computer systems which protect it from unauthorized access or use.

No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

If a password is used to protect your account and personal information, it is your responsibility to keep your password confidential.

SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Levvel may transfer Personal Information to organizations hired to perform services on our behalf. Personal Information will only be provided to organizations providing services to Levvel if they agree to use such information solely for the purposes of providing services to Levvel, under the instruction of Levvel and to act in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy. We disclose only as much of the Personal Information as is required by these agents to perform the task they have been retained to perform.

Please note that we will release Personal Information if in our opinion we are required to do so pursuant to law (including the Act), or by a search warrant, subpoena, court order or other legal process.

LEVVEL’S COMMITMENT TO DATA SECURITY

Although Levvel does not collect sensitive information, we do have physical measures, organizational measures and technological measures in place to ensure protection of your Personal Information. Our security procedures are continually enhanced as new technology becomes available. Levvel assumes no liability for interception, alteration or misuse of information transmitted over the Internet.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION THAT IS NOT “IDENTIFIABLE”

We may collect additional demographic information which will never be connected to any Personal Information you may provide. We do this in an effort to provide the highest quality of services to our clients. This data is collected in the aggregate to provide research information and trending models. For instance, we may collect just your postal code.
